The Mission of the Las Vegas Blues Society is promotion and preservation of the Blues Music genre. We believe there is no better way to do that than by exposing and thus instilling a love of the music into the younger generation.. and we are doing just that!
Twice a month (2nd Saturday at the Soulbelly BBQ, and 3rd Sunday at the Rockstars of Tomorrow) we have all ages blues jams that are well attended by very talented teenagers along with seasoned adult jammers. Several of those teens got together and led by local blues diva, Marissa Hollenback, formed the ROTn Kids Blues Band (shown below). We believe they are talented enough to be showcased at the International Blues Challenge in January and we are asking for your help.
